The Tags extension lets you use Tags to pick out interactions that teach certain areas and then see your learner's personality visualized.

This article provides an overview of Tags extension, extension setup and provides examples of Tags extension configurations.

Extension overview


The Tags extension lets you use Tags to pick out interactions that teach certain areas and then see your learner's personality visualized.

You enable the Tags extension in the Extension section in your Evolve course.

Extension set up


Follow these steps to enable the Tags extension in your Evolve course:

Click the Extensions tab in your course.

  1. Scroll down to the Tags extension and toggle to enable the extension.
  2. Click the Edit button and begin set up.

General section

In the General section:

In the General section, add a Tags Title. This is the title shown on the Tags page.

Add Tags Description. This is the description shown on the Tags page. Use the text editor to style and format your text, as needed.

Add a Tags Overview Title. This is the title shown on the Tags page in the overview section.

Add Tags Overview Description. This is the description displayed on the Tags page in the overview section.

  1. Add Radar Chart Title. This is text displayed below the Tags Radar Graph.
  2. Add Tags Page Aria Label as needed.

Hero Image Section


In the Hero Image section:

In the Hero Image section, toggle to Add Hero Image. This will show a hero image for the Tags extension.

  1. In the Hero Image Content section, add a Hero Image Title.
  2. Add a Hero Image Body. Use the text editor to style and format your text, as needed.

In the Hero Image Graphic section:

  1. Select a Hero Image to display.
  2. Set Image Per Device Size, as needed.
  3. Add Hero Image Alt Text as needed.

Scroll down to make settings for Hero Image Content Layout:

  1. Set Hero image title and body container layout. By default, this is set to Center.
  2. Set Hero image title and body container width. By default, this is set to 70.

In the Hero Image Floating Graphic section:

  1. Select a Floating Graphic.
  2. Add Floating Graphic Alt Text, as needed.
  1. Set Floating Graphic Position. By default, this is set to Bottom right.
  2. Set Floating Graphic Offset Position.
  3. Toggle to Show on Large Screen Size Only.

Appearance Section


  1. In the Appearance section, select Tags Navigation Button Icon. This icon will be displayed in the navigation.
  2. Add a Tags Header Icon. This icon will be displayed in the course assessment results header.

Heads up!

The icons set in the Appearance section will override the icons set in the theme.

Tags List Section


  1. In the Tags List section, you Add Tag Items.
  2. For each Tag Item add a Tags Title. This is the title of the Tag displayed throughout the course.

Add, duplicate and delete Tag Items as needed.

Behaviour Section


  1. In the Behaviour section, Choose Tags components that can be tagged by clicking Show Components.
  2. By default, Enable Tags to show in the course is enabled. This will show the Tags icon in the sidebar navigation. Toggle to disable this setting.

Clicking the button Show Components lets you enable and select components that can be tagged.
