The Text component lets you present text to your learners.
This article provides an overview of the Text component, component setup, and provides examples of possible component configurations.
Component overview
The Text component lets you create text blocks. The Text component is a fully responsive component.
The Text component contains an editor where you can style and format your text. Standard settings for the Text component are set in the Evolve Theme Editor, where you also can control specific settings for different devices.
Component set up
Follow these steps to add the Text component to a Block:

- Click Add Component.
- Use the component search or scroll to find the Text component.
- Click the Text component and select Add Left, Add Full or Add Right.
Click the Edit Component icon on the newly added Text component to begin set up.
General & Interaction Label sections
In the General section:

Add Text Title, or a Text Display Title, as needed. Only the Text Display Title is seen by learners.

Add your Text Body. Use the text editor to style and format your text.

Add Text Instruction Text and include an Aria Label for screen readers, as needed.
In the Interaction Label section:
In the Interaction Label section, you can enable an Interaction Label. The Interaction Label allows you to add a widget before or after the Text component that can display an icon and label prior to the Text component completion, which changes to a different icon and label once the Text component is completed.
