Video Components
Outline
Within a page, you are able to add multiple components to build and structure your content. Adding videos to your activities can be done easily within the Intellum platform.
In this article, we'll walk you through adding and formatting video components.
Add a Video Component
Add a video component to a page by clicking the + icon and selecting Video. You'll be prompted to select a video for upload to the page. Video components have a file size limitation of 3GB.
Additionally, videos uploaded as a file component will be treated as a file component, giving you the opportunity to add or update the display name and image of the file.
Note: You have the ability to cancel photo, video, and file uploads.
Format a Video Component
After a video is uploaded, clicking the three dots icon to the top right reveals customization options to edit the size of the video as it appears or add a closed caption file.
In addition, you have the choice to use a video's original file when uploading instead of Intellum's default optimized video settings. This would be ideal when uploading a high-quality video where you would like to maintain the quality of the original file.
Note: If you are currently unable to change a video component's default video settings, remove and reupload the component to view those property settings.
