Video Support for Virtual Events

The Intellum platform offers flexible options to help you connect with learners using live video for virtual events.
This article gives an overview of integrations for both broadcast video and web conferencing solutions.
Live Streaming
You can broadcast video of a live event to users without leaving the Intellum Platform using YouTube Live or Facebook Live.
YouTube Live
Adding a YouTube Live URL as a link component to your Page embeds the YouTube video player. Prior to the event, a placeholder image will be displayed. Once the event begins, the video will automatically stream for the user.
Facebook Live
Adding a Facebook Live video URL as a link component embeds the Facebook video player. Prior to the event, a placeholder image will be displayed. When the event begins, the video will automatically stream for the user.
Other Broadcasting Options
Most other broadcast service provide HTML embed code that can be added to pages. Embedding HTML in a page will provide similar functionality to YouTube Live and Facebook Live.
Web Conferencing
If you would like to have more collaborative video experiences for virtual event attendees, the Intellum Platform provides integrations with the following top providers to make it easy to connect:
- Zoom Pro, Business, and Enterprise
- GoToMeeting, GoToTraining, and GoToWebinar
- WebEx
- Adobe Connect
Integrating with Google Meet and other providers is as easy as copying the URL for your meeting and adding it to the URL field in Event Properties.
Zoom
The Intellum Platform integrates with Zoom Pro, Business, or Enterprise accounts and provides the following functionality in the platform:
- Automatically creates Zoom webinars with in-platform Event setup
- Logs users directly into a Zoom webinar without registration
- Syncs event attendee lists between platforms
- Import webinar events in bulk via CSV
- Integrated with platform Event reporting
GoToMeeting & GoToTraining
The Intellum Platform also integrates with GoToMeeting & GoToTraining, offering the following functionality:

Google Meet
With Google Meet, you can leverage your familiar G Suite tools to allow your learners to seamlessly access your event, simply by adding the URL to the Intellum Platform’s built-in Event functionality.
Other Conferencing Options
If you would like to use other web conferencing tools with an Event, just add the event's launch URL to the Event properties, allowing the user to click directly into the meeting.
